Are you part of an organization looking to raise thousands of dollars and have hundreds of laughs? If the answer is "yes", give Lafflines a call. Over the past 19 years we have helped church groups, hockey teams, dance troupes and large charities ranging from the Kidney Foundation to the Food Bank raise thousands of dollars. You can be, so to speak, laughing all the way to the bank.
Thanks for your interest in our fundraising offer. The following is some information which should hopefully answer most of your questions.
When and Who?

Fundraising nights are Sunday through Thursday.
We are a licensed establishment; all patrons must be at least 19 years or older.
How Many Can We Fit and Ticket Pricing

The club can seat up to 220 people.
You are responsible for printing and selling your tickets. We recommend a ticket price of $10. We also recommend that you sell 250 tickets. People often buy a ticket to support the group with no intention of attending the event. If you sell 250 tickets at $10, you will gross $2,500. With prize give aways and 50/50 draws, you could earn upto $7,000.00.
How Long It Is and Suggested Planning

The show is an hour and a half to 2 hours and features all professional comedians. We work with the best comics. We can arrange for an improve group, should you be interested. The cost to you for the comedians will depend on the comics you pick. Please call for info. After ticket printing and show costs, you could net about $2,500 to $7,000.00. We suggest tickets go on sale 6 weeks before the show, so the money comes from ticket sales for the event.
Bound by Contract

Once the comics are booked, they and Lafflines are bound by contract. A venue fee does enter if you have less than 100 people attend. If there are less than 100 people in attendance, we charge you $200 toward the cost of being open.
You aren't limited to just a comedy show. We have a dance floor and space for a DJ to work. You have the option to book your own DJ, or we can get one for you.
What Else Do We Offer?

If you want to go a step beyond a comedy show and dancing, we can introduce you to our caterers and you can organize an evening of dinner, dancing and comedy. This would increase your costs, but it also allows you to charge more. Lots of lead-time is key to making these events work. Give yourself at least 6 weeks from the time the tickets go on sale to the event itself.
Last Suggestions

We'll help all we can, but ultimately, your organization is your sales force. There are many ways to make extra money for your fundraising event, You can do a 50/50 draw, or get some gifts donated and sell tickets to them. We can go into more detail later.
